Re: Euthanasia
My sincere condolences Terry to you and your family, especially your dear wife. Whilst so terribly sad, it must be a relief to the family to know that your Mum In Law is now at peace. I had a similar situation with my Mum in the St Johns Hospice on the Wirral. Her care was exceptional for which we were all very grateful and her ultimate death so very sad but we felt relieved that she no longer suffered and was at Peace. The days will improve and you will remember her with a smile and happiness rather than a tear and sadness.

Re: Euthanasia
Same again here RLT from the downunder mob and now to get the grieving over with so that you can all enjoy the happy memories of you MIL. I always tend to think of dying as me making room for one of my grand kids otherwise the world would become congested with people. Just a thought for everyone. Could you think of a worse fate than eternal life like some religious idiots rave on about. Why is there so many of equal camps advocating something that is fundamental to life itself and that is there is an end and neither camp should interfere with a persons decission as to how it should end. What rights do I have to tell anyone that they need euthanasia and equally what rights do those who are against it have to push their views. Just so long as if it is made legal that it is not made retrospective LOL.

Re: Euthanasia
Condolences from myself Terry, along with everyone else. All most of us hope for is a dignified death, for those left behind always sad. The generation that your mother in law came from would have been through the war years, and were a tough breed, and almost certainly would not want family to grieve for too long, but to celebrate a long life, kt
