Re: Anyone herd anything from these members ?
John mate you are probably correct I seldom go into town now. Often think how different crews had there favourite pubs back then. Not that I frequented them. Being a Pompy boy it was to easy to jump on the train and go to the Savoy or Kimbles dance halls, then sleep it off at my parents. The horse and Groom if my memory is correct has been pulled down and made into a multi story car park. When on the Cape Boats I would enjoy a pint in the old Standard, then on to the Pier for dancing (that's my story and i'm sticking to it).The Duke of Wellington served a fair point back then. Wonder what to-days youth will wax lyrical over when they reach our age

The good old Duke of Boots, we were once asked in there to show some Decorum!!!!!!
But what wonderful times we had there in those wonderful watering holes.
For those of you who may recall pubs in Sydney, apart from Monties that is.
The 'Terminus' in Pyrmont is to reopen after a closure of some 30 years.

Oh sir, tugging his forelock, your reputation as a poof reader excels once again.
But time is of the essence so I must be quick, but I will with your sure guidance look to the unrelenting digits in an effort to ensure they meet with your prudent standards.
