Okay you win, all ships dry dock and refit, the programme when the RAF /FAA was last year I did not check the date. Cannot be bothered anymore. But do yourself a favour and check out the number of Combat aircraft available to the RAF , France have nearly double the the UK, and other Individual nations, even Italy ffs and I mean Combat aircraft. Did Cameron and Hollande not sign an agreement to develop Drone capability a couple of years ago. Dassault I believe to take the lead, (They already have there own system in place) they are built near a place called Andenos le Bains. As Ted said our armed forces are being shafted.
Just of interest Lads not competing here LOL:confused:

The Charles De Gualle was laid down in 1987 and was due for completion in 1994. During construction building was halted twice for defence reviews. She was to be the first of two carriers, the second was never ordered due budget constraints.
She entered service in 2000, six years late.she immediately reported propellor problems and removed from service and two second hand propellors were fitted.
This reduced her speed from 27 to 23 knots.
It was also discovered her angle flight deck was to short, which resulted in the installation of 400 tons of steel.
New propellors were fitted and one of them disintegrated, she was removed from service for nearly year in order to fix the problem.
Her rudders were noisy in operation resulting in the stern accommodation being unserviceable.
