Best cup of coffee was instant with lashings of conny onny after coming of watch with a huge wedge of toast. John I am so glad that you pointed out that it is illegal to commit suicide as I will make sure that if I get to the stage of ending it all that will stop me from doing it LOL. As for the voluntary death being passed in Vic well about bloody time I say. Most of the arguments against it seem to be made from those that just want to control others. My personal view is for myself and myself alone. If I have the option at a later stage in my life then I can see it extending my life here. Put simply that knowing I have the means to end it peacefully I will most likely choose to stay for a while longer. Without it my worst fear will be a failure to commit suicide and finding myself in a worse state than before plus now learning that I would be up on charges for doing it. Lets face it with the guidelines that are in place it will take longer than actually karking it. As for the other view doing the rounds that family memebers would try to get one to exit early well if that is the case who would want to hang around with a sick bunch like that. Would be altering the will then karking it for sure. But the most frightening part would be having the corpse locked up awaiting trial for commiting suicide.
Always got away with Café con leche or au lait abroad.
or just settle for bier / cervezas etc.
Keith.
Asking for a coffee in some countries can be a problem.
here in Oz you can have a Zulu, called by most a Long Black, or a Sammy Davis Jnr which is a short black.
In London I asked for a long black and they had no idea what I wanted, they call it an Americano, not to be confused with Meccano I assume.
In Ireland they called it a Large Black so it can get confusing at times.
Then in USA you do not ask for black coffee, just coffee and they will ask if you want cream with it, well in some states.
In Spain Sin Lece or Non Lece not sure of the spelling.
Then in one coffee shop I was asked how I liked my coffee, like my women, hot and strong I replied.
Would that be black or white sir?
