Re: council leaders pay
I don't know about your trough slurpers up there Cappy, but if it's anything like here, go and look into their wives and offspring, and you will find in a lot of cases room has been made for them at the trough as well. Here our MP has a flat in London as well as a house on the Island, he was caught renting his flat to another MP, and claiming allowance to rent another flat. Kt

Re: council leaders pay
There are more people living in Birmingham,
than there are in Wales.Birmingham has one
Council Leader,Wales has twenty two Council
Leaders.I have no idea as to what they earn,
but I am sure that they total more than the
Birmingham Leader earns.

Re: council leaders pay
#5... JP used to be free. Before they changed the borders of different areas and came under the Auspices of the County. Another con by Government of the time. South Shields used to be in Durham and North Shields was Northumberland, now believe is Tyne and Wear, there were always positions for Councillers when it was only expenses paid. Now people are there through Greed. Believe before Brexit the Euro government had the UK bordered into zones 1 2 3 4 etc.. Thank goodness they didn't get their way. Britain has given far too much away to an imperial society to also give away its total character which will turn out later to be a no hoper with the predominant language being French or German JS
