    Default Shooting in Quebec

Shooting at Quebec Mosque. While I do not condone killing. I have just been watching the CBC news.
It is on the parallel of the BBC.
Tragic as the killings are. They did not once mention the killing by a terrorist of a Canadian soldier a few years back, who was standing on guard at the Ottawa cenotaph.
The mayor of Quebec was in tears over today's shooting.
Our PM also showed his support to the Mo slims.
    Called the shooters terrorists.
    Is it just me?
I could see this coming a mile away.
Maybe not in Canada, but it is was always a matter of time before the people raised up.
We have had more press over this, than we ever had with attacks on Paris, London underground, Boston marathon, suicide bombers, etc etc.
I know it happened in Canada, so it gets more coverage.
Oh and by the way. Surprise surprise.
    Its all Trumps fault.
    I despair.
    Just my thoughts.

Den, this is no more the fault of Trump then your PM, terrorists are out there and will attack at any time.

You may have seen on TV the horror and carnage in Melbourne when a drug charged man drove up the mall killing six people.

Not a terrorist but just as bad.

Sadly the national broadcaster in any nation, ABC here, BBC in UK will always look to find a political spot in the story and it always appears to be the conservative govs they will have a go at.

Crocodile tears comes to mind, politicians are good at it

I saw a programme last night where-in some Canadian politician was spouting that moo slims are always welcome in Canada as they add to our diversity, oh! yes! would you let your daughter marry one, wait until a wailing mosque wakes you at 0500 every morning, wait until your social services are collapsing under the weight of their numerous wives and children, wait until there are no houses left for the people born in Canada, I could go on, but you've already got the picture

Think I am right but was not one of the shooters a Moroccan guy which begs the question, if so, what was a mooslim doing shooting up a mosque.
The other guy was a French Canadian who apparently phoned the police to tell them he was the 2nd shooter and then waited in his car to be arrested.
Am I correct in this or was that another example of "false news" on the Internet?

#5 Good morning John,The shooter who was arrested in his car, is a white student of The University of Quebec.
He is now being called a terrorist by the PM and media.
The Moo sim was NOT involved.
He was just a member of the Mosque.
To my thinking it was a hate crime. No others appear to have been involved.
As far as I am aware. This is the first attack on a Mosque.
In reality, I am surprised at that.
Surely it was only a matter of time before someone would strike back.
Maybe his motive was an act of frustration. Due to the lack of response by Politicians and media, for always looking the other way when the Moos commit atrocities.
So now to add to the Trump demonstrations, we have more marches and candle light vigils. For equality and religious freedom.
    Give me a break.

    Hi Den.
As you say this is the first attack on a mosque, IN CANADA. But in Syria, Iraq,Jordan Yemen Saudi Arabia and a few other middle East countries the MO%$#S have been attacking each others mosques for a few years now , their religion is one of hatred even to each other.
    Cheers Des

But if we go back a few years I recall there was a war in a country known at the time as Yogoslavia. This was about Ethnic cleansing, a nice term for murdering the ones who do not think or act as you do.
Go back even further to the wars between Christians and ***** in the 13th century, little has changed over time.

Religeous conflict has caused more conflict than any other kind, and I think will do so as long as man walks on the face of this planet.
