Re: Donald Trump.
Interesting bit on the news today regarding the USA elections. It appears that whilst now some 65% do not like Trump any more there are some 50% who do not want Cruz. On the other side over 60% do not want Clinton. So where to from here I wonder.
Rodders, any thoughts on this one?

Re: Donald Trump.
The big boys who really control the country will decide who becomes Commander in Chief. Shows Democracy is not all it appears to be. The people must be pacified and that's all. Cruz is an ex Cuban exile, who if gets in is an unknown quality to most of Americans apart from his pedigree which will be more than likely made up to suit by the same controlling influences behind most western democracys. We have it in our Labour partys where it was and still is to a certain extent the Unions in the Labour Party and the Big end of town that is the Industralists in the Liberal party. Supposedly Wealth against nothing. The US I believe has ruled out the communist party which at one time was a legitimate party in the UK don't know if still there or not. Trump will not be going anywhere without the blessing of the Republican Party. JS

Re: Donald Trump.
For your information:
Ted Cruz was born in Canada of an American mother and a Cuban Father. Ted Cruz' father left Cuba to attend college in the U.S.A. then claimed political asylum and was granted permission to stay in the U.S.,
he and his wife were working in Alberta Canada in the oil industry when Ted Cruz was born. The parents registered the child at the U.S Consulate. Ted Cruz then is considered a natural born citizen of the U.S., thus qualifies to the terms of the U.S. Constitution for becoming the President if so duly elected.

Have you realised that if Donald Trump becomes President he will
be the first multi millionaire to move into public owned accommodation
previously occupied by a negro.

Re: Donald Trump.
I personally think he will do a good job he is a businessman and he will want to know were and how the tax payers money will be spent on after all every country has to be run like a business if you over spend you go under but if you can save the waist of not only money but overpaid jobs for the boys {like we have here} it might be the kick up the ar.e the world needs ? just my view.. jp

Re: Donald Trump.
Popular with many of the elctorate it would appear but how will he sit with the power base of the Republican party? All political parties have the top guys, often not well known, who decide the outcome of these things. It is nothing more than a big club for the boys and that is why the world is in such a mess. They may pay lip service to the public when in election mode but that is all they do.
Trump is something else, a non professional politician, and the status quo do not know how to handle such a situation.

Re: Donald Trump.
Perhaps what should happen is to send one of our senior politicians from the OUT campaign over to the USA to tell the American people not to vote for Trump, and that if they vote him in, it could put them at the back of the queue with the rest of the world !!!, I wonder how that would go down over there?, kt

Re: Donald Trump.
Trumps biggest asset is being able to answer questions without having to resort to guidelines from the faceless people in charge and it comes across so refreshing for the voters to see this. Maybe we are in for a turbulent next term of USA government but will also be a novel one to boot. As said before voters world wide are starting to wake up to the fraudsters that are in power hence so many close elections. Just look at the differences between China and the western politics. They plan for decades ahead where Democratic ones have slipped into the same scenario and that is to only plan for the next election and not beyond while hoping that when the excrement hits the fan that they are in opposition to gain leverage to win the next election. Or to put it bluntly the Chinese are in the marathon race where our lot are in the relay race. Was told years ago as a kid that Communism does not need to take over democracy but just wait for democracy to become so corrupt that there is nothing else left to turn to but communism. Maybe Trump will be the breath of fresh air within our system to save us from this.
