Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
it would be easier to annex and lock down Syria with the world taking over until a proper country fit for people to move back to .most that has left is the infrastructure of the country and without them returning the land of Syria has not much chance. isil will just move in and take over? right now evil is prospering while good men stand by? jp

But probably Jim, that's why Merkel is so anxious to be seen to be doing the right thing, (if it is the right thing) but I reckon she's making a rod for her own, or her successors back, and her apparent good intentions will come back to bite her in the ass. Which is something that our dogooders here also fail to grasp and the Anti British Broadcasting Corporation is having a field day with this. I'm with Cameron on this one (unless he's changed his mind) we cannot open the flood gates willy nilly.

Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
mr.Cameron must have a lot riding on the vote in/out I think he is even fed up getting ruled by others we were always a hard country to get in and an easy one to emigrate from but the world is changing? this country has enough ghettos we don't want more and we will get them. if Europe tells us to take them in let Europe foot the bill that's what its for? jp

Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
If you listen to most of these migrants, they are like children, they have been told by the smugglers that on arrival here they will be given money, a house etc, so move the dream down the line by months and these same people will hate us because we have not fulfilled what they thought they should get. `````a lovely breeding ground for ISIS to wreak havoc among us all. this has not been thought through by these idiots that are running us KT

Ivan I'm not interested in the politics of the whole thing anymore who's right and who's wrong but to be flippant and to make a joke (if you can call it that) about six million people being exterminated in my view is in very bad taste.Maybe others don't think so but that's not my problem.

Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
I was not making a joke about Six million deaths, just pointing out that Germany could increase the number of migrants into their country. more than we can. They are a bigger country than us and more space, and also they should have a guilty conscience.
I have a lot of Jewish friends and it was what a friend pointed out to me, he lost family in Germany at that time.

Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
Jim I'm certainly not making a joke or light of it, but I do think Merkel is making a big mistake, for whatever reason, in having an open door policy. We are an island (almost) with a limited land mass and resources, as many of all political persuasions have commented upon many times on this site. Germany and France both have three times the land mass that we have so are better placed to accommodate an influx immigrants legal or otherwise. I for one feel very uncomfortable in opening our doors to people who are anti Christian and I feel it does not bode well for our children and grandchildren and their off spring, if it takes that long, which I doubt. Those are my views and I know others will have different thoughts, but mine are not influenced by emotional photographs or reporting, sad though the circumstances may be. All the young men deserting their countries for an envisaged easy life, would be better off spending their energies trying to reclaim their own country and see it evolve in a manner they would wish for it, rather than abandoning it.

Re: Legal Aid for Terror Suspects.
Ivan as I have just said I'm not going to get involved in an argument over refugee's,my sole point being the comment regarding 6 million people being exterminated, which to my mind was below the belt.
