Lou,gone but not forgotten.
Being a nice day I took a trip down to the Pier Head and whilst there I stopped at the Repatriation Memorial I gave the name of the Monwai a bit of a rub and thought of Lou that was the ship that brought him back down the Mersey and home from his time as a FEPOW it seems like yesterday that he was standing there pointing at the Monowai I think it was Brian that took the photograph.Always in our thoughts RIP Lou.

Here is the photo Jim, also the card Tina sent me from New Zealand. He is also pointing at the Duchess of Bedford, [ later Empress of France] that he was on before he joined the Gloucester Castle.
I have a lot of photos of him both in Liverpool and in Dunedin from when I met him there,
