At the moment I am learning Tahitian. A much better and more civilised language than those two languages,. and there are only 13 letters in the Tahitian alphabet.
I did read the Koran, when I was a hostage in Iran during the Revolution, first one they gave me was written in Arabic, we complained that we could not read it. so they eventually found an English version.

Just caught the tail end of the news this morning re. Greece. Some political commentator was giving his views on the Austerity which Greece has undergone in the past 4 years missed his first comment, but second some of the hardships experienced by the Greek people was due to the loss of national income on the demise of the Greek merchant fleets. Also Herr Junkers is feeling betrayed, reminds me of a big kid who has had his sweety jar taking away from him. Greece has got a referendum in days, and the UK has been unable to do in years what does this say about the UKs politicians, also the loss of our Merchant Fleets and any future Austerity the British people may have to undergo. To me it puts most British pollies past and present in a branch of particular morons on their own. JS
Maybe it has taken the Greek people where Democracy was formed initially to lead the way. JS
Having just returned from a week in London, spent a lot of time playing spot the white man, I found it interesting that a poll of some 10,000 shows 80% want to stay in EU. I do believe this is because it make sit easier for British to travel on holidays to countries in an easier way. I spoke with a number of persons there who were all of the same opinion.
Can quite believe that John. The younger generation has grown up with it. I know it will probably go that way also as the public have been kept in ignorance for that long. However the manner in which they have achieved their ends leaves no room for congratulations and just shows the politicians in their true colours. They are almost there so can say goodbye to any self determination one has at national level. A few more thousand beaurocrats is the only addittions to the present Brussels lot one will see. I have heard Cameron whilst on his travels around Europe say a number of times that he wants the UK to stay in the EU but he wants changes on our behalf.His whole exercise of travelling from country to country will be a waste of time he is not going to get the support of many country's we may get a few crumbs out of it the country will have a referendum it will be a YES vote to stay in and Dave will be seen to have done his job.
