Utopia tonight 10.35 ITV

The two JS's have to some extent put in a nutshell what is quite complex. I have in an earlier post referred to the possibility of this continent being settled, as was Africa, by a number European aspirants only to be pipped at the post by Captain James Cook. One can only imagine how different history would have turned out.

The brutality of the first Caucasian settlers was utterly disgraceful. The inept incompetence in the tardy and sensible integration of the original settlers into the new society was also disgraceful. And as an eminent leader has been espousing, throwing money in the form of total 'welfare' has destroyed the will of far too many of his people. As I understand it in North America there is also no criteria as to the extent of heritage to qualify for the additional benefits provided by less well off taxpayers.

There are good, interested and intelligent leaders here who try to do the right thing but they are swamped by those whose primary aim is self gratification under the cloak of democracy. It is not all that hard to see below the surface and spot the fakes.

Much, much worse has happened and is happening in the world of yesterday, today and you can be sure, tomorrow, all under various guises but basically greed and power. Probably none of the earth's surface has been free of it.

Is no good looking at what happened in 1780 with the eyes of someone in 2013. The earlier settlers were jailbirds, vagrants, and peasants in their own rights. No matter how much you feel on the subject you cant alter the past unfortuanetely, otherwise the world would be a Utopia. If you could would suggest you forget the Houses of Parliament who introduced all this legislation for the colonising of the Australias and North America. Hard times called for hard people not mamby pambies, people in Australia are proud of their ancestry low as it was at the time. I wonder how much money John Pilger made out of this film, and how much he gave to the "Stars" of that film in Utopia.
I have noticed on my travels through the outback and bush towns of Australia over the years, where the Abos camp
there is always rubbish scattered everywhere.
Now they have all day and every day to do nothing but they do not help themselves, just sit in their own squalar.

It's the same here Brian, those with most time on their hands always think that everybody else should do something to help them, instead of getting off their backsides and helping themselves. The only helping themselves they do is our taxes and supermarket shelves.

I had to laugh at one woman she said something like this talking of the Abo's "They dont want to fit into "Our" Country" "They are lazy they wont get a job" then finished with "nobody will give them a job anyway".So my observations are the Romanians and Bulgarians that come here next year can clame this place as theirs as nobody owns anywhere!!!!

Sorry but the explanation from our Australian members is only to be expected and totally predictable, as they are out there reaping the pleasures of the land. Quite honestly the white man has a lot to answer for in stealing peoples countries and introducing everything bad about white people. Drugs, illness, crime, and destruction of lands, animals and vegetation, Oh yes and the subsequent mass theft of their mineral wealth as well. The natives just got invaded into submission by the so called intelligent whites who it may be said, used their ' discoveries for science etc ' as an excuse for greed and dominance.

The native way of life is something people were and are born into, its in their genes and anyway, why should a people or peoples be forced to live as their invaders force them to. I thought that two world wars were fought for the so called freedom of life and speech. Its funny how the white man reacts when the boot is on the other foot and somebody else is trying to put them in the same position as they have put the natives in. No, the white man has a lot to answer for and still has, because the white man is greedy, manipulative and a bully. I speak as a white man and I am ashamed of many of the acts in history and present day which are carried out against minority peoples in the guise of progress and so called advancement. The white men wonder why people rise up and rebel against them, if you were treated like the white man treats the Aborigine, Red Indian etc wouldn't you rise up and rebel, I am sure I would. I am not talking about religion here nor ethnic invasion either, I am talking about breeding, inherent culture and a genetic love of their homeland.

One `Australian ` lad on Mrs Macquarries Point that was crowded with People, said we are all Australians, black , white , Yellow , Brown, and then he stopped a couple walking past, `You are Australian, arnt you mate,` They said , `No WE are Irish`. so he shut up.

I saw another report a while ago, An Australian was complaining of the Boat People coming in and taking over and the Aborigine next to him said ` I know how you feel, we had the same problem.`

#17 all white men are not the same or any other colour.....but sadly in his need to survive and grow stronger we must all take what we can.....this may not be right but it is the law of the jungle.....there are many different attitudes to life and no one can deny this ......Germany will always try to be dominant .....france and Italy well they speak for them selves......the greeks ......the romas ....the Japanese...we know what they are known for all different ........all differin in there all way but me im so so proud to be an Englishman ......and so proud that we took and educated the world similar to the romans.......you cant make an ommellete withoutbreaking eggs .......but my view of oz is a wonderfull country........but the difference between a maori and an abo is like chalk and cheese....... ......thank god for one of our own capt james cook.....and others like him .......and if the white man is such a bad thing why does half the world want to emigrate to his country.........just my thoughts cappy
