Kieth some a+e departments could do with dog handlers in there. nurses are not allowed to tell anyone over the phone the health of gunshot victims in case the shooter has not done a proper job and the shooter comes to finish the job that's how scary the job is.jp
Just heard it said on the radio one in three healthcare workers would not recommend the hostpital that they work in to their families some hostpitals it was two in three who would not recommend the hostpital.I think the main problem in hostpitals is the after care,there are not enough nurses to attend to the patients.We heard it in the past where patients were drinking water from the flower vase, as there is now no flowers allowed these people will dehydrate.With the cut backs things will get worse.

Jim my daughter is now a health visitor with the pay freeze nurses are leaving every week her case load has trebled in the past few months with more hours with no pay. this must be happening all over so no wonder health care is suffering how many workers would work more hours for no pay and expect to keep up with three times the workload than when started no wonder people slip through the net,jp
Make every non citizen of UK pay for treatment and Prescriptions, only bona fide citizens only.
Charge all drunks, it is self inflicted and so we should not pay for their treatment.
That would save millions.

. When I was in hospital 18 months ago I was the only Englishman on a ten bed ward, all the others from the middle east. Last June when I was in, Two Afghans shouting the Koran in Loud voices all day and into the night. I was angry with them. Then they stand on the seat in the toilet and crap all over the cistern and seats and floor. Bloody disgusting. These animals belong in a Pig Sty. They should not be treated in any hospital. Also made to pay for the Pig Sty.
It would not be allowed in a Honolulu hospital.

From April the charge for a prescription will rise from £7.65 to £7.85 per item.For those living in Wales and Scotland the prescriptions will be free of charge.I thought that we were all part of the same NHS so are we in England subsidising the people of Wales and Scotland.Maybe if they had to pay it would bring the price down right across the UK. As it happens people over 65 are exempt but imagine going to the doctors and being prescribed 3 items £23.65, then again if you an asylum seeker you would get them for nothing!!!

John we have them here the are called walk in centres.You can have blood samples taken and have an XRay the government is trying to expand this system even further.I had a tooth taken out one saturday night in one near to us.

The local ones here are very good Jim , and they are much quicker , much less waitingg time
