The lates news from USA has me convinced they have lost the plot, maybe they never read the script. A spokesman for the National rifle association said,
'Ther are thousands of retired cops in this country, if we put one at each school we could stop all this killing'.
Yes and if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle.
No mention of putting these ex plice at McDonalds or shopping centres or bowling alleys, does that mean shootings will only occur at schools.
It got me to thinking, if aliens from outer space came to earth looking for inteligent life the last plkace they would look would be USA.

Happy daze John in Oz.

The next time an ...hole says something utterly crass and stupid in your country, I will be sure and remember he or she is speaking on behalf of you all and you share their stupid belief and auguments...hell I can't, I've visited your countries many times, met many kind, thoughtful and intelligent people there, plus a few bludgers and ockers, and I have enough intellegence to know ONE PERSON, or SiX FOR THAT MATTER DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL! Getting a little tired of this thoughtless bull.... I'm going to Ships Nostalgia for a few days. Yank bash away. Have a nice day.

Yesterday two people were stabbed, one killed in Northumbria with the Knife, age 25, and the killers ran away, no one caught so they are still on the loose, and in London two 14 year old lads stabbed a 17 year old lad with a knife.
Knife crime and killings are on the increase in the UK.
There are several stabbings every week, I think almost every lad on the street has a knife.
If they were guns it would be bigger news, But, being killed by a knife is just as deadly.
So no matter where you live there is always danger from a nutter.
Cheers
Brian.

The children should not suffer:
Whatever Words are used or said,
cannot make up for those now dead.
The children should not suffer:
Words fail me.
I HAVE SAID LITTLE
I ADD:

I use someone else's words hopefully to save any confusion:
Sad.

Violence
I think a lot of the violence, shootings, stabbings and violence in general which was never seen as much 50 years ago, some of this must be put to the door of our censors who allow violent video games and films which our youngsters grow up with from a very impressionable age. Most glorify the gun, shooting and death. All this in the name of entertainment and our film makers and such making money. I am no prude but the violence of some of the things which are readily available to our youngsters today plus the lack of parental control in some cases makes a case to me of the cause why such things happen. People of our era would never have been able to witness such rubbish glorifying death which is there for the asking. As regards the sexual stuff now readily available, and the permission granted to the Australian Mardi Gras for our armed forces to appear in uniform, I sometimes wonder that we are nearly devoid of any sense of moral values at all. U.S. Constitution
I have never read so cannot comment on. If what I have picked up at various times some of which I agree with, if this is so. Can protect your own property that is if you find an intruder can shoot him, I agree with this and would do so would not wait to ask him of his intentions. Do that here or even injure him will find yourself in jail paying compensation to the other bloke/blokes/girls or whatever. The right to bear arms, changing the constitution would in no way lessen the criminal acts with firearms. If someone decides to go on a shooting spree he will get in any case. You only have to look at the recent one in Sweden or elsewhere in the world. This problem is not only Americas it is universal. I believe some of the gun laws vary from state to state, but again would not know. I think the US will take whatever action it has to take. Dont believe the average american is going around the streets towing a world war 2 bofors gun around as would certainly be apprehended. The gun laws in australia were similar to the US and were tightened up, this has not to my knowledge lead to any decrease in firearm felonies , however we will never know. America is a sovereign state and will adjust its laws as it sees fit. Cheers John Sabourn

Rodney, you are of course correct every county has it's idiots that speak crap but no always for the majority. However the slaughter of young kids this time I feel has stirred passion more than usual. Yes we may have bashed the USA a bit more, but some of the comments do beggar belief and people will always react to such comments, not always in a sensible manner.
