Maritime Memories
Dear friends of Snowbow & Maritime Memories,
This is just a brief email email to let you know that because things really are becoming so difficult from a financial point, we have (and this really is true!) looked at how we can enable you to still buy a few DVDs as Christmas presents, but save a few pounds at the same time. So, for the next few weeks until Christmas, we have decided to make a special offer of. 'Buy Two DVDs and get one for FREE!
We have also reduced for Christmas only, the price of our much acclaimed "Arctic Convoy" DVD "The Worst Journey in the World". This truly remarkable, emotion-jerking programme has done so much to bring the story of those notorious convoys to the attention of the world and now, with any luck, those brave men and boys that served on those convoys will at last receive the Campaign Medal they so rightly deserve.
Now that is a really genuine and very big saving and in all honesty, with film restoration and productions costs so high, not to mention the costs of just trying to run the business, it really isn't so easy to make this offer, but we know how much happiness these DVDs bring and happiness is what Christmas is really all about.
So come, get your DVDs and make someone very, very happy this Christmas.
Oh by the way, I have written and recorded a special Christmas song for you this year, which will be on our website next week, so do come back and have a little listen. It's in the old traditional style and you never know, you might enjoy it so much that you may even want to join my Fan Club, or on the other hand.... No, it just isn't worth thinking contemplating such terrible thoughts!!!

Actually, it's almost fifty years ago when as 'Des & Dave' we released our first record, which was also a Christmas song wat I writ. So much has happened in those fifty years but that is another very special story.
Oh one last thing; we are now in serious talks about providing something exceptionally special when we go to St. Petersburg next May, so one thing's for sure... it's going to be another very special voyage of Maritime Memories with well over 130 booked already and many others looking to do the same, so if you're considering it then do join us before it all gets booked up.

Do please pass this information on and forward this email to your friends, for we need all the help we can get. But above all, have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for all the help and support you have given us over the years; we really do appreciate it.
And although its still a little early...
Merry Christmas,
Des, Ulla and family.
