My dad sailed on the Lancastria in the 1930s. I have some of his union books but have now learnt that before he went on Lancastria, he sailed for a while on the Lanconia. Would crew names be in Maritine Museum Liverpool. Also mentioned is Coast Lines but I have no Idea where I would start with them. Anne

Best way to start off would be to begin with his full name date and place of birth. With regard to crew lists depending what years he served will determine where they are located. So if you could narrow down the year he was on 'LACONIA' it may help.

Thanks. I will try to work out dates. The copy of his crew medical card is April 1930 and I assumed this was for the Lancastria but proberbly the Laconia. I know he was on Lancastria in 1933 as I have a photo taken on board on a trip with boy scouts to Rome. So narrows it down to just 2 years. Thanks again. Anne
