Jim I'm going off thread for a moment as I'm watching a film on TV about a ship adrift in the North Atlantic and It brought to mind that one floating adrift near Ireland, has anything more been heard of her.
John.
Hi Albi, if I can interrupt, are you thinking of the one that lost her steering, Wilson Gdynia, she was assisted to Belfast and got there safely. Now being repaired.
Or maybe the Russian ex cruise ship MV Lyubov Orlova which was supposed to be drifting around the Atlantic with a load of cannibalistic rats on board, no word of her at all, pretty sure she sank.
Thanks Chris,
It was that Russian one I was thinking about.
One more sea mystery to go into the annals.

As i recall John, there were lots of sea mysteries going into lots of 'annals' aboard the Capetown Castle in the 'Swinging Sixties'.
