Sammy (Chippy) Wright
It is with much sadness that I learn that our friend and shipmate, Sammy Wright, has Crossed the Bar.
I have copied the e-mail Sammys grandson sent to me.
Perhaps we can raise a glass to our friend on his birthday, the 31st July.
This is Samuel wrights grandson who helped to get him to get on the website.
The reason for this email as my grandfather passed away on 6th July 2015.
He used to be a chippie in the merchant navy.
Would you be able to post a comment on your website about his passing so that no one can post comments as he is not here now. His birthday is on 31st July.
Thank you
Thomas Cochrane
