Does the Law on Sunday Drinking, Still apply ,in the Area?Think they called it a Bona fide Traveller
One had to travel a certain number of miles.To qualify.To enter a Pub.

Being berthed at Burntisland. Piled into a Taxi or two. Off to Kirkaldy. Which fitted the bill.

Also,recall a mid-week trip there. To watch Raith Rovers v Aberdeen.

That Law was repealed a few decades ago,if I remember right one had to be 2 miles from point of departure,and at least 2 miles from destination AND sign the book!That was checked by the local Constabulary on a regular basis.I guess they got sick of "Buffalo Bill travelling from Cucutta to Dodge City"!
