I spent 31/2 years on the Arcadia(1953) from 1956 to 1959, when was your brother on her?

My brother Terry would have left Sea training school at Gravesend in 1955.He then sailed on the Strathmore for about five years starting as a bell/boy finishing as a barman,so I think he would have been on the Arcadia for 2 to 3 years as a barman from about 1960 to 1963.I think you may have just missed him.
He finished up getting married to a girl from Brisbane who he met in Sydney whilst on the Arcadia, and now lives in Brisbane.

Hi Peter. Do you recall a steward on the Orion in 1st class called Alastair Urquhart - he was from Aberdeen. I know he discharged in 1960 but he may have been on Orion in 1959 when you were there. I realise it's unlikely but thought I may as well ask!
