    i wa s j/e on br vision in aug 1970 when we towed i think br trent into columbo after e/room fire would like to know if it was trent p.s got salvage money

    Hi Chris- the British Trent wasn't built until 1973,so you probably mean the BRITISH TRUST.

    Reading in the forums on the 'other' site(SN),it seems like she had her fair share of breakdown tows over the years..
    You need an ex-BeePee man looking in to confirm this though.

    thanks gulliver looking at the photo it was not the trent so it could have been the talent on the subject of breakdowns on the vision we went from the gulf to singapore with sparks coming out of the funnel which was quite impressive at night when we got there we took the doxford apart and fitted new rings which cured it another fulltime job was filling the holes in the deck and pipes
