Sept 1966, anyone serving at this time might remember me John Nolan aged 16 cat boy lost his heart to a girl in Auckland and jumped ship, returned Dec 1966 on Adelade Star as DBS ?

Hi John did'not loose your heart for long you soopy sod, if every sailor jumped ship on the Kiwi coast after meeting a girl there would have been no one left at sea in the 60's cheers joe

That was the problem back then, the sheep were so good looking, but you had to fight the locals off first.

I got my Dear John shortly after arving back in the Uk Her name was Wendy from Oneunga she met a guy just like me and was expecting his baby!
Oh how hard life is at 16
