the auckland star, thank god for the bread rolls we would keep for night time coming off watch would
have lettuce rolls . I remember one night three of us were playing cards around midnight when a mouse ran across
the the messroom, before you knew it ,three hairy ass seamen were up on top of the tables. we all looked at each
other and burst out laughing. can't remember what happened to the mouse.
