Hi Alex. As I've said my memory is not to good. I did about 4 Months at Aberdovey..1 Month on the outward bound course, 3 months in the galley.
I'm Membership Sec for Kent Branch Merchant Navy Ass. Meet in capal-le-ferne 2nd Sat of month,I also do Coast/Watch in Folkestone afew times a month Lived in folkestone from '81 to 2004, now in Chathan.

Hi Vernon... My memory is not that good,but your's seems to be very good, I think I was in manchester about July '58..I did visit Bel-vue I was with My Good looking Mother,We may as well meet up on the Cars ( all gone Now) We lived in Birkenhead then but had some things to sort out with relatives in the area. I love Bel-Vue, in there a lot when I was a youngster Your right I'm 74, 75 in Novenber, how time flies
