As the doc walked in the room he looked at me !!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you naked sir he said, You are here for a formal chat and to go through the simple procedure. :mad: I searched that bloody hospital for that nurse women's toilets the works, Know where to be found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :pointlaugh:

When ever I go for any kind of Treatment, Xrays, scans, operations, blood tests, or what ever, I always demand a copy of ALL the results, so I get the same report that the Hospital sends to the doctor.
I now have a big file of all my treatments.
They always try to keep you in ignorance,
It is MY Body , I want to know what is going on inside, they try to keep it a secret from you, That is wrong.
I have DVDs and Xray pictures , the lot.

Brian when you get a hostpital appointment here they tell you that you can request to have that information,I have never bothered.

John I have a nodule on one lung,last checked February 14 back again for another scan 19th next month they are keeping an eye on it.

I think my doctor was a bit pi..ed of because she gave me news I had already had the xray showed something abnormal but the hospital rang the same time to book me in and they had a cancelation the next day {yesterday} so everything was quick save me waiting for weeks/months? a few months ago I had an xray and was told I had the lungs of a young man?? so whatever it is its only recently that its showed up having pneumonia over Christmas and a bad do with it so I don't know nothing really till the radiologist has looked through it and maybe a biopsy I am concerned but I have fought every inch of the way in the past few years so this to me is round two never give up me?? jp
What happened with me John,about three years ago I had a letter asking if I would take part in some Medical Research for Cancer UK I think it is.They wanted 4000 people half of which where going tobe scanned after filling out a questionnaire.I suppose with having cancer in the family I was selected.I was called to Broadgreen for a scan,I was told that they had spotted something so they wanted to do another scan (have to wait a further 3 months).Ok not a big problem another scan in 12 months,last Feb follow up this month.I seen this man I believe one of the top men in Liverpool great guy showed me scan and nodule,his saying was "does that make sense"everything he explained he finished up with "does that make sense".I'm glad I took part should anything be wrong you can catch it in the early stages.
