History: 1952, launched as KOOTARA, Union SS Co of New Zealand Ltd: 1968, converted to chemical carrier. 1975, SYDNEY, Martrade Sg Co Ltd: 1980, PADMA, Ursa Tradeship Ltd: 1980: dragged anchor & wrecked Syros Is 27.8.80, in ballast. 



KOKIRI: IMO 5191529. Cargo Ship, New Zealand Flag, built 1951 by Robb's of Leith. 2,470gt, twin diesels, 10 knots. History: 1951, launched as KOKIRI, Union SS Co of New Zealand Ltd: 1968, JUNIOR K.L. E.K. - Litonjua SS Co Inc. 1971: missing - last report 5.10.71, 20 crew presumed lost, enroute Tanjong Mani to Hong Kong, cargo of logs.
