Gilcruix
The Register of Apprentices’ Indentures show Morgan Anthony Swidenbank commenced his apprenticeship on 10 March 1890, at the age of 17, bound to Ismay Imrie & Co., for 4 years. He joined the four masted iron barque Gilcruix, (2304 GRT) one of the ships owned by Ismay, Imrie and Company of the Liverpool White Star Line.
Unfortunately, the records named below, have not been digitised and as I live in south Wales, I wondered if someone living near to the National Archives, Kew, would be prepared to check the following and copy or photograph any pages with the name of Morgan Swidenbank from March 1890.
Registry of Shipping and Seamen: Agreements and Crew Lists
GILCRUIX. Official No: 93695
Reference: BT 100/98B
Date: 1886 – 1895
Legal status: Public Record(s)
I would appreciate any help
Thanks Roy

Ordering and viewing options
This record has not been digitised and cannot be downloaded.
You can order records in advance to be ready for you when you visit Kew. You will need a reader's ticket to do this. Or, you can request a quotation for a copy to be sent to you.
