Hello to you all.

I am joining this forum in the hope I may be able to help my Dad (same name) to locate a few old friends.

He was aboard the Empress of Britain and the ukadia?? Sorry if it's slept wrong. Amongst a good few others in his time.

He served from around 1954/55 ish for 15 years or so.

I'll try get more info if required

He lost the top of his thumb when a cable fell and sliced it off on a trip..........not sure where he was during this.
