    Hello,

I am trying to find out about my Granfather John Dickie. Unfortunately, his service logs and certificates are lost, but I believe he was an Engineer first on the Baron Ailsa, then the Baron Dechmont and finally on the Baron Elgin.

Does anyone know what happened to the survivors after the Baron Dechmont was sunk?

The story we have is that they landed in Brazil, and I was hoping someone might have some more informatiion?

For some reason the attachments above have rotated back to the how they were on file, even though I changed them before posting.

    Thanks Keith,

Don't know what the problem is my end. Might have something to do with Windows 8.1 I have

Thank you... This is astonishing, I had no idea reports like this existed.

I want to read it through, and hope it's ok if I come up with some questions?

    Thanks again

    Neil

I can send you the original size file if you can't read it too clearly. Just PM me with your email address and I will email to you.
