Hi. This is the first time I have used this site. My grandfather, James Edward Luen, was drowned off the Harlingen, on 25 November 1939. Just remembering him now as his 71st anniversary comes around. I never met him but we always remember him on this day.

My thanks to vernon and ray
Thanks for welcoming and assisting Lorraine:
She has asked that I ensure Ray recieves her thanks for the information he mailed.
Dear Ray
Many thanks for posting the information aboiut James Edward Luen. Jim was my grandfather and although he was drowned when my mum was only 11, we have always spoken and imagined him being with us every day. We grew up speaking of him.
I am tracing the family tree and have thoroughly enjoyed following his journeys - the information you posted I didn't have!
I am only very new to this site (only joined last week) and am always a bit slow finding my way round new sites!!!
Once again, many thanks for your posting and to Keith for making sure I had received it.
All the best
Lorraine Howard
