Well mate, a varied life but with some regrets.
No worries about them, just look forward and do what you want to do what YOU want not what some other body tells you be that TV or any other entity.
No doubt the UK will welcome you, at least you are a genuine guy not a bloody so called refugee from the back of whoop, whoop.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Dave,
On 19th September, you state “I'm curious about what immigration might have in store for me and my new American wife…”

On 25th, “ [I]I am hoping my Handbook, that's in the Amazon publishers, makes a killing. One friend of mine stashed 3 million dollars in the British Cayman Islands, and removed himself from America to North Wales.”

    And

“So anyway, as daft as it seems I am seeking a lady to be my wife, as I hate this loneliness.”

    Suggest:
    a. You consider moving to North Wales and tap your mate for some of his 3 million.
    b. Get a divorce from your new American wife before looking for a British one who will fall for your gold digging stories.

    Cheers,

    Ken

I don’t think the immigration will ask you and your wife , “ are you or have you ever been a member of the communist party ? “ , although it is a few years since I was back, the immigration man asked me if I had an English passport as well as an Australian one and just said use that and stand in that queue over there and you’ll get through quicker . From experience of going through UK passport control and immigration I can tell you it is never the same twice.
Some questions make one wonder just how the country operates.

I was once asked if I always traveled on an Australian passport.
Being an Australian citizen yes was my reply.
Got a most odd look from him before he allowed me to go.

He was big, wide nose, curly hair and with a West Indian accent.
So could have been from a number of London boroughs.
    Brixton comes to mind first.

Better than Glasgow airport where it could have been the Gorbals then, where there could have been a few razor slashes to improve his appearance ? JS

Dave all the best with your new adventure returning to the UK. Now do not take this the wrong way mate but always wanted to ask this of authors about financial books. If the system is so good then why do you need to publish a book in the hope of making a killing, or is that the system for making the money lol. Please not the old excuse of wanting to share the good fortune otherwise the book would be free.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Why do people insist of having a headstone on their grave and insist on not being burned . I would give one reason they want to leave something behind of themselves for people to remember. JS
