Re: Joseph Knight - Liverpool - Dock Board Labourer
Thanks, although I already have May Knights birth cert. It’s her parents I can’t find information about. The main thing I’m missing about May Knight is where she lived when the 1939 register was taken.

Re: Joseph Knight - Liverpool - Dock Board Labourer
Could you add May's married surname. Had she married early could pos be:
Marriages Jun 1943
Knight May - Tan Liverpool South.
?

Do you know if the parents separated as the only Joseph Knight death cert I can find for 13 Feb 1937 for Birkenhead is linked to a Margaret Walker.
No I’ve not found on the 1939 register either. Wondered if maybe she would have been evacuated from the city but would expect her to show up elsewhere. Unfortunately I don’t have either parents birth/death certificate. This is what I’m looking for as I can’t work out. Quite possibly they are from elsewhere in UK/Ireland.

Re: Joseph Knight - Liverpool - Dock Board Labourer
According to May Knights birth certificate, her parents lived on 48 Warren Street, Liverpool as of 1926. I’ve looked up that address in the 1939 register but they don’t live there. Just as well I guess as I read that Warren Street was decimated from bombing in 1941. I wondered if its possible to find electoral polls for the preceding years to find out when they stopped living at that address?

Anne Jane or Annie J O'Reilly or Barry ring any bells?
Any idea if they spent any time in another country? EG: USA.
