Dorcasia (1)
Hi, I'm the son of Leo Walmsley, who wrote a book called 'Invisible Cargo' (published 1952), in which he travelled as a guest of the Anglo-Saxon line, in one of their tankers called the Dorcasia from England to Curacao (skippered by Byron Jones), returning on the Theobaldus (skippered by Captain Murray) . I see on your website there's a Dorcasia (2). But I've not been able to find details of the original Dorcasia. Can anyone help? By the way, 'Invisible Cargo' is a fascinating account of Leo's sea travels on these ships, as well as the oil production industry right at the end of the Second World War,
Sean Walmsley
