New Member saying hello
Having just retired as a Pilot in SW Wales after 44 years at sea I am looking to catch up with any former shipmates. Started with Cunard 77-81, then Maersk 81-85 on to dredgers before pilotage. Remember good times on Lumiere (S.Africa coast), Port Chalmers, Atlantic Conveyor, ACT 3, Carinthia, QE2 and Matangi. Maersk Angus and Buchan in North Sea, Maersk Cadet and Maersk Ascension at Ascension Island. Dredging on Bowcross, Sand Tern and Welsh Piper. Cadet at Plymouth School of Maritime.Studies between 1977-80. If anybodies memory jogged please get in touch.

Hi Brian,
I was on the QE2 for the 1980 World cruise.
Worked on the dredgers for British Dredging/RMC/CEMEX on the Bowcross, Sand Tern but mainly on the Welsh Piper.
