    Hi Bob,
Unfortunately the only time I saw the Royston Grange was when she was a twisted and burnt hulk tied up in Motevideo after the collision with the anchored Japanese tanker, I was on the the MV Turakina. A terrible sight to see, the porthole glass in places had melted and had run down the ship's side. We must remember those poor souls who perished in her, which should have been a routine transit down the 'Plate'.
    Cheers, Paul.

    HI Bob.
Welcome to the site, you never know you may have sailed with someone here.
I was at the Vindi in 49, are you a member of the Queensland Vindi group? Don't know if it is still going up there, down here we still have around 60 members, though for the last 15 years I have been to far away from Sydney to participate; I'm still a member of the Vindi Association in the UK.
