NZS Baker
Hi All, my name is Paul Johnson, I spent eight years at sea, the best years of my life. Mainly with the New Zealand Shipping Co. It would be wonderful to chat with you all, and especially with old shipmates. Best wishes

Re: NZS Baker
I was with NZSC for a while on the Paproa in about 1964.
From memory there was no such person on board, just me as stand in second cook and the ships cook.
He made the bread, if you were game enough to call it that, even the Sea Gulls were a bit slow on taking it.
Could make a French stick that would resemble a telescope there was so much open space in the middle.
But we had a great time.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
