Been busy tracking my Kent Man's movements! Found many ships he crewed in 1915 National Archive, but he also worked with a Thames Waterman for a period between 1906 and 1911 approx. I am now interested in the Waterman's barge or boat named "MIRA". Official No. 118459, Still on the Thames in 1915, owner was Henry George Munns. Traced him and his location from Census and his family - parents and offspring.
Now wonder whether my Kent Man met up with Munns in the Medway reaches of the Thames - his former boat was the "REDWING". Official No. 79893. Built at Rochester 1879. Belonged to Munns father in 1881, then under other Masters but found at Queenborough on Sheppey. Possibly used for trading bricks/paper at that time.
Also found Kent Man aboard the "Iron Queen" Official No. 53342 registered at Dover. Again lots of crew members listed in National Archives. A sailing collier. May have been used for timber shipments. Owned by Crundall, a wealthy Dover importer in those years 1890s - 1900s
I'll leave this here for time being, should anyone have more knowledge of the above vessels! Thank you.
