Heyn (Head Line) employees in the early 1900s
Hello, my father in law Robert McCormack and his two brothers were all stewards with the above Company. I only have their records from 1919 and would love to find some more information . They all lived in Belfast. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hello Doc
Three McCormick(mack) brothers all stewards with Headline out of Belfast
William McCormick born 1891 in Belfast
Robert McCormack born in Cleator 1893
George
born in 1900 in Cleator
Their father was working in the mills when the two youngest were born in Cleator, but there were all home in N. Ireland by 1911. William was described as a ships steward on the 1911 census.
I have their records with Headline from 1919 (some of them are on Find My Past but all on the Irish Mariners site. I suspect they all worked for Head Line before that as they lived in Belfast near the docks, but I would love to know if this is true, as William told a rather tall tale of missing the Titanic's sailing because of a hangover!!
Many thanks for your interest
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary
Well by the sound of your latest post you have their Records ,so that is what i was thinking you wanted. So is there anything else you wanted besides trying to find out about William and his missed Ship.
Cheers
I have this on William.
Ships shown
135706 "Otira" Shaw Saville changed name later to "War Paris" British Government
80452 "Empire Seaview" British Government

Many thanks for that. As you can see from William’s records, he was married by 1919 and living in Scotland. I am really trying to find out when he joined Headline, but I suppose those records are long gone. Robert was my father in law who I never met. He was on the North Sea convoys, torpedoed twice and died young.
