Welcome to the site, I was a month later than you from 4/4/49 to24/6/49, but on the Vindi in Sharpness, my book no is R510868. List your ships on site, never know if someone here sailed with you.

HI Ralph.
Still many of us around Ralph, they still get hundreds down at the Vindicatrix reunion in Sharpness every year, and there are still around eighty here in N.S.W. and of course NZ have a few associations. Do you know they have a [peanuts] Gravesend association ? look up sea schools on site here, we have a few Gravesend blokes on site here as well. As for the comp I use an old laptop my son rescued from his bosses scrap heap.
