Default Empire Stanley and Empire Ocelot

Hello, I am searching for photos of both Empire Stanley and Empire Ocelot. Also any information would be appreciated. My Uncle served on both ships when they were sunk by u-boats in WW2.

Extracted from my book, SHIPPING COMPANY LOSSES OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR.

EMPIRE STANLEY (Captain A.J. Pilditch). Bound for Beirut from Lourenço Marques, sailed independently from Durban on 13 August, 1943. Torpedoed and sunk by U.197 (KrvKpt. Robert Bartels) at 3.50pm on the 17th when in position 27º08ºS 48º15ºE. Twenty picked up by the Socotra and landed at landed at Bombay on the 27th. Nine picked up by the corvette HMS Thyme (Lt. H. Roach) and landed at Durban on the 29th.

Empire Ocelot (Captain P. Bonar). Dispersed from the Convoy. Torpedoed by U.32 (Oblt. Hans Jenisch) . Two died. Thirty-two picked up by the destroyer HMS Havelock (Captain E.B.K. Stevens) and landed at Liverpool.

(Convoy OB.218 which left Liverpool on 24 September, 1940. Sunk on the 28th.)

Thank you for your replies. It does appear that no photos of these two ships are available. I have made many enquiries on various sites and no one has photos. But I will keep searching. Cheers.

It is far more difficult to get a photo of a ship in Wartime, as it was almost forbidden for security.
There are photos of the class, `EMPIRE` ships. which would show you what they looked lik, I have sailed on a few Empire Boats.

Ok I can understand that photos were restricted. Good point thank you Captain Kong. The Empire Stanley was new, built 1941. However, Empire Ocelot was from USA, built as the West Java sometime before 1925, renamed to Myrtle, renamed to San Marcos and then the Empire Ocelot. I cannot find photos of the ship under any of these names.
My Uncle was Henry William Carmichael Wood born 19/08/1917

Yes Nelson i too have searched all over for Pics of both the Ships but to no avail.
Had tried all the various names as well.
May be a lost cause but who knows something may still yet come up.
    Cheers
