Hi - I am registered here but lost track of this forum, so I'm going to say hello again.

My dad was William Pascoe, MacGregors, Cory Maritime, and a few other companies. I remember most him being captain of the Garth ships, Cory Maritime. I sailed a couple trips with my mum in 1968 I think it was. I also remember the Kinnaird Head well, as a wee girl. Sailed on her more than my school liked!

I'm writing a children's novel featuring characters - ahem - a bit like my dad and me, but with a spy mystery. Ship sails from Murmansk - with a microfilm aboard. Ship is to lay up at King Harry Ferry (I spent 4 wonderful months there in 1962). Rafted up with three other ships. I put kids on the ships so we can have an adventure...

So I'd love to hear from people who sailed with my dad, sailed on garth ships, were laid up at King Harry - to pick their brains so my story can have accurate details! And just to chat...

Thanks for this forum -
Jackie
