    Post Pipiriki

Can anyone help with the following: I am trying to locate a deck plan or capacity plan of PIPIRIKI. i served as AB on her from 3rd July 1962 to 1st June 1963. What a happy ship, once we got rid of the nasty guy in Fremantle (got threatened with the mutiny act in the process), but all turned out well in the end. Loads of overtime and we chipped her from top to bottom and were very proud of her. Had a super Scous cook, he refused to cook for the officers separately, fantastic food. A great Chief Officer as well although we had a few conflicts but at the end of the voyage he still asked me back. Paid me one of the best compliments I ever had when he said at pay off, I know we have had our ups and downs but by heck you do know your job. Would be pleased to hear from any old ship mates and would welcome a direct Email as well as forum on jn.jh@virgin.net

John, couple of years back one of the members had a plan of the Paproa, sister ship I think.
Some where in the many postings it will still be there.
Possible Vernon may be able to assist in finding it.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
