Gibson family Merchant Navy intro
Hello,
Recently joined in order to see if anyone has any history in relation to my Grandfather C/O Alan Gibson, DOB 17/05/29, R328734 and his brother, Charles Thomas Gibson, DOB 13/06/23.
Charles (Chas) was a Fitter and Turner, Alan was 1st/2nd mate on various ships including a number of trips on MV Leicesterbrook in the 1950's.
They both emigrated to New Zealand in the 1950's/60's.
Thanks all,
Ben McMinn
