    Default hello

    Hi Dave,

I was on the Benhiant as third engineer, nightmare vessel of Ben line, not sure of the dates, but joined the ship in Iran and cant remember where we went from there on, but believe we loaded sugar at Durban and discharged up as far as Toronto and Detroit, there I believe we loaded steel rolls for Santos , brazil.

I need to look for my discharge book to be more accurate.

    Default The Black Pig

The Black Pig/Cramond/Benhiant went to scrap in 1985 I understand. I spent the winter of '77/spring of '78 ith the last Great Lakes trip and tramping till she was sold in Sicily to Panama flag.
    Best,
    DAve.
