Atlantic Star
Hello My name is Dee Burton, and I am trying to obtain my late fathers MN records. I need them so that I can get his Atlantic Star. Have tried Nat Archive, using a link sent to me by the Coastal and Maritime Organisation, but no luck. My dad joined the MN in the 1930s, and spent the war with Elders and Fyffes SS Tetela, on the Atlantic convoys, with the occasional trip to Russia. I am hoping, that someone on the site might be able to help.

Re: Atlantic Star
Some on site may be able to help but, would require basic info. Full name, Discharge book number, date of birth / death, place of birth / death etc, the more information given the better. Keith.

Re: Atlantic Star
Hi Denise,
keep looking in as it is late now , but some of our experts will be able to help you, may take a few days.
I also sailed on the Tetele of Fyffes, I took her to the breakers yard in Gent Belgium in 1958.
All the best
Brian.

Re: Atlantic Star
Funny I find no record of Medals for him??
Search results: Doel | The National Archives
These are the only ones listed, but that does not mean he never received one!
