Hello all.
hello all im Tony From Queensland Australia,
i joined up in October and haven't been on to say anything.
i mostly are on British marine sites and so on as im more interested in shipping in the uk/european sector, well more tug boats and dredgers then ships mainly.
shipbuilding in Australia don't happen quite that much these days, some Australian navy ships are still built here, and smaller vessels like trawlers and pilot boats to trawlers and small work-boats/ tugs.
i remember coming across this site when i was doing a google search if i recall correctly, i take pictures of ships and tugs that are at the port i live nearest to, Port of Bundaberg,
i'll upload pics i take in the gallery.
there was something i wanted to ask, does anybody know of the progress of the new Inverlussa vessel Gina Mary that is being built in Norway at the Havyard shipyard, i know the other 2 MacDuff designed vessels were built at MacDuffs yard but this third work-boat is being built there, i saw in the tugs towing and offshore newsletter that she is expected to enter service in April even though work began in August or so.
Tony.
