    Good Morning all
    I am trying to find a picture of the Norton motor vessel.My dad was on this ship in the sixties .thanks Gill

    Hi Gillian, If you follow this link it will take you to various ships that have her name Norton, This could be the one from the 60s Then again look for yourself there are 5 listed Regards Terry.

    The vessel in #2 looks like a late 50's early 60's built ship, but if you have your Dads discharge Book and dates he served we may be able to be more positive on which era 'Norton' he sailed on.

    Just looked on the site Norton 01 and 02 are the same vessel circa late 50's/early 60's
    Norton 03 and 05 are the same vessel circa 1890/1910
    Norton 04 circa 1930/1950

    Hi, I have just checked my discharge book and i joined the "Norton" in Birkenhead 23rd August 1966 and returned to Liverpool 3rd June 1967.
    We must have been on the ship at the same time.
    Please check your dates and confirm.
