Re: Hello and help please
THis is a photograph of the British Enterprise believed to be taken 1946 probably in the Suez Canal, the location is just a guess on my part. She was built in 1946 in Sunderland and scrapped in 1961.

Hope its of some help.

Re: Hello and help please
Hi Hugh, reference CRS 10 and seaman's pouch, I have not heard of these before, I unfortunately lost a lot of equipment, including my discharge book, whilst in Subic Bay, Phillipines whilst on board a RN minesweeper which, notwithstanding, the armed guards, was the object of thieves who apparently boarded from seaward and looted the diving store. If it is possible to recover details of my earlier voyages I should like to, regards Mike.

Re: Hello and help please
Hello Mike H
Unfortunately Hugh had decided that he mo longer wanted to be on site and has moved on to other pastures. A shame really as he was really good at all these sort of things.
Anyway i too have a wee bit of knowledge on these matters,so hopwfully may be able to assist you.
Firstly the Seamans Pouces are Records kept on Seaman which contain normally basic details of when the person joined, and would normally have a Pic as well.
The CRS10 Documents are a far better bet in obtaining your full Service details, and although may not have a Photo, has a lot of info, such as Ships sailed on etc.
So to start off will need your DOB and Place of Birth, this will give me a starting point, however I cannot promise but will try and see what I come up with.
Cheers

Hello Mike H
This is the link to your Seamans Pouch ,i will look for the CRS10 in a while.
You can order this Pouch from the NA Online ,however the CRS10 is best obtained in Person, but can also be asked for Online.
