    More likely and this would not be easy: Plans, sketch, painting etc ?

    O.N. 20194. 738g. 738n. 187.0 x 31.7 z 19.4 feet.
    3 masted iron sailing ship.
    3.10.1857: Launched by Barclay Curle & Co., Glasgow, (yard No.56) for William Kidston & Sons, Glasgoow. 1870: W& R Kidston. 1880: Charles Kidston.
    2.2.1889: Whilst under the tow of the Greenock tug SS Defiance from Dublin to Glasgow, tow separated in a storm near Portpatrick, ROSENEATH sank.

    Thank you for replying in connection with the possible photo of the Roseneath, shipwrecked off the coast of Portpatrick 2nd February 1889.

    We will continue looking,
    Just home from Christmas myself
    and away again for New Year.
