Reina Del Mar 1973
Hello,
Ive just joined the forum here today following a trip to Liverpool. In August 1973 I was lucky enough to be taken by my parents on a cruise on Reina Del Mar then working for Union Castle to the Azores, Madeira, Gibraltar and Lisbon which at the age of 8 was the trip of a lifetime .Ive since collected much information on the ship. However, can anyone remember 'Simon' our restaurant waiter. We sat at table No 5 in the Atlantic restaurant and I know he served on board the first Oriana as I do recall the story he told about the her fire in the early 1970's.
I appreciate this is looking for a needle in a haystack but any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
TONY
