With so many of us Lads at Sea in the 50s and 60's i am sure that is quite a strong possibility!

Not only that NZ Coast but what about many others such as the South African Coast,places like Cape Town,East London.Port Elizabeth,Durban and also futher up !
Southampton as well i am sure!
Anyone remember a lovely tall Girl called Tunisia! Hey watch out haha!

Yes with the passing trade,a lot of the Girls had time to duck and dive so to speak,and we would never have been the wiser!

Do not know what ships you where on but the ones I was on we would compare exploits on number 5 as soon as we left London. Of course we shared and so did the girls that was what it was all about. Having a great time with no commitments. Of course there where those in catering that had their partners sail with them which used to cause many a cat fight in the mid accomodation. Must admit that I can only talk about how it was on deck. So did we share of course we did that is why the girls would come down to the wharf and wave us of and wave the next ship in. Bloody greatful that I was around then as we did truly have the best time.
